About The Role

You will be responsible for selling our suite of payment products (in-store, online, mobile & event payments) to a range of outbound opportunities. Your pipeline will range from small to large businesses with a key focus on converting new business deals by clearly conveying our unique value proposition.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Managing the end-to-end sales cycle through a consultative/solutions-based approach
  • Undertake a needs assessment of businesses so that you can identify opportunities & confidently promote the correct payment solutions
  • Request & review existing payment contracts from merchants to gain a better understanding of their business
  • Provide customers with comparative quotes based on their current business position & follow up on these quotes to close new deals.
  • Consistently close new business deals & generate referrals by fostering strong relationships with new customers
  • Work with internal stakeholders to ensure customers enjoy success and excellent experiences
  • Make targeted outbound calls and appointments to introduce & promote our current products & services
  • Obtain & submit new payment orders via digital onboarding platform
  • Collect specific personal and business information from customers which will need to be submitted with each new order
  • Comply with all communication guidelines in addressing the needs & problems of customers
  • Maintain a courteous and friendly disposition when interacting with customers
  • Conduct research to identify the key differences in competitor solutions. Use this information to improve and tailor your sales pitch
  • Upsell products & services to customers when providing solutions
  • Assist with onboarding or post sales follow up from time to time

Experience Required

  • Passion for sales and delivering positive outcomes for your customers
  • Previous payments, financial, or banking sales experience (highly desirable)
  • Willingness to learn and have a great attitude to work
  • Experience in B2B outbound sales
