About the Role

We are looking for a Partnerships Executive to join our hands on and budding Partnerships team as we continue to grow and develop the channel. You will be highly motivated, a fantastic communicator and at one with fostering long term business relationships. Account management will be your forte, taking responsibility for managing existing partners, as well as assisting onboarding new Partners. Working closely and building relationships with these accounts is vital to succeed in this role and you would find yourself working across many different internal teams, from sales and operations to marketing, support and credit underwriting. The position is based at our South Melbourne office and reports into our Partnerships Manager.

Duties and Key responsibilities

  • Account management of existing Partners including sales organisations (ISO’s), and software providers (ISV’s). You will be responsible for enabling these Partners to achieve positive outcomes for both the Partner and PayNuts.
  • Working closely with the Partnerships Manager to identify and close new Partners by targeted outreach, responding to inbound Partner leads, and working with our existing networks. You would be arranging meetings in person or online to discuss Partnership opportunities and clearly positioning PayNuts’ unique value proposition.
  • Assisting with onboarding of new Partners, this could include providing access to systems, drawing up agreements and contracting, or providing dedicated training sessions.
  • Be the point of contact for all your Partner Accounts regarding Application Support, Sales, & Business Development and escalate Merchant Support cases to our Partner Support Team.
  • Developing content, materials, and campaigns that would have a positive impact on our Partnerships channel. Working closely with our Partners to tailor these where possible.
  • Arrange regular catch ups or calls/meetings with your Partner accounts to check in and ensure we are assisting them the best we can, always looking for ways to optimise their performance. You may also find yourself going through monthly reports or looking at figures and financials.
  • Assist with the upkeep and future development of our dedicated Partner Portal. This provides great visibility of orders, support cases, transactional data and more but as we grow we aim to develop this continuously so we are always improving what we offer Partners

Experience Required

  • 2+ years working in Account Management/Business Development/Partnerships role within Fintech/Finance/Tech/SaaS or Payments industry
  • Strong relationship building and sales skills
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships and collaborate with internal and external teams
  • You have loads of initiative and self-motivation and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Leadership and management qualities with a drive to succeed
