The Opportunity: POS & Payments Sales Specialist
We’re looking for a motivated and knowledgeable POS & Payments Sales Specialist to join our Melbourne-based team. This role is perfect for someone with prior experience selling POS solutions and a passion for helping businesses streamline their operations. As the subject matter expert on PayNuts POS, you’ll lead outbound sales activity (with some inbound leads provided), deliver tailored solutions, and ensure merchants get the most out of our technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive outbound sales campaigns targeting businesses needing POS and payment solutions.
- Act as the go-to expert for PayNuts POS, delivering product demos and tailored recommendations.
- Convert inbound leads efficiently and upsell additional services where appropriate.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and integration.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and report on sales activity.
- Stay up-to-date with POS trends and competitor offerings to refine strategies.
About You
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field (or relevant certifications)
- Experience & Qualifications
- Proven experience selling POS systems (essential).
- Background in B2B sales, ideally in payments or fintech.
- Familiarity with POS hardware/software and merchant needs.
- Strong consultative sales approach and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Self-motivated with strong time management and prioritisation skills.
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving ability.
