Settlement and Funding Timeframes

We understand that it is important for all businesses to receive their funds as quickly as possible and in a timely fashion. PayNuts aim to provide businesses flexibility and it’s this reason we offer two different funding cycles, Same Day Funding and Next Day Funding.

This page goes on to explain the differences in these options and the expected time frames for settlements and funding.

Differences between Same Day Funding and Next Day Funding

It is important to know that PayNuts have different cut-off times each day for EFTPOS and Ecommerce payments.

Same Day Funding

If you settle before the official cut off time each day, your funds will usually be transferred to your bank account and ready for release within a matter of hours. Expect to see funds in your account prior to midnight the very same day. If you settle after the official cut off time funding will be available on the next day. Same day funding is processed 7 days a week.

Next Day Funding 

If you settle before the official cut off time each day, funds will usually be transferred to your account on the next business day. If you settle after the official cut off time, then funding will be available after 2 business days. If the funding day falls on a weekend, a New South Wales public holiday or a bank holiday, the funding will be available the next business day.

*PayNuts official cut off time for EFTPOS payments is 20:20PM AEST each day. Ecommerce (online) payments is 18:00PM AEST each day.
